It’s a funny auld country, they were discussing bullying yesterday over the polish girl who was murdered and they want to see a boy run around the yard in a skirt and tights.
That’s a very positive move
It comes 28 years after girls in my primary school class were refused permission to wear trousers instead of skirts

You’d imagine any boy that arrived in with a skirt on would receive so much bullying it would do untold damage for life.
I worked in a school where a lad had GID. Came back after 4th class summer holiday as a girl. Grew the hair out, always wore a skirt and had changed from Daniel to Ella. Birth name remained on the roll book, but everyone of the other 36 in the class accepted Ella. The only issue that ever arose was with acquatics, principal wasn’t happy that Ella would be in female bathing costume in a public place. Parents accepted this and child did other activities during their 6 swimming sessions…
Nephew is in Pres in Cork, all boys secondary, and they had a student transitioning who had an awful time of it. Gone from the school now and not sure of which gender they decided on in the end.
