As far as I understand it, the kernel of the division between Protestantism and Catholicism comes from Prods believing in consubstantiation while Taigs believe in transsubstantiation.
Consubstantiation means that Prods believe the bread and wine at Proddy mass merely represents the body and blood of Jesus Christ. The bread and wine are like props. Metaphors. Jesus isn’t really in the house.
But the Romish church holds that the bread and wine at mass actually transforms into the body and blood of Jesus Christ himself. This is called transsubstantiation.
And therefore the Roman Catholic church is based on actual trans ideology, the idea that bread and wine can be the actual God, that it transforms.
So why does the Catholic Church hate trans people so much?
Has pious Holy Joe and genocide supporter David Quinn ever addressed this inconsistency?
The reason this sort of thing happens is because there’s a worldwide Nazi campaign of demonisation of trans people.
The same worldwide campaign of demonisation that some posters here support.
A transgender man who was found wrapped in plastic and dumped in a field in upstate New York in early February was tortured and sexually assaulted for a month before he was murdered, authorities revealed in new court documents.
Seven people have been accused of killing 24-year-old Sam Nordquist, a Black man from Minnesota, but first they allegedly subjected him to a month-long torture campaign in which they treated him “like a dog,” forced him to eat feces, drink urine and poured bleach on him, prosecutors said.
I’m no authority, but it was a mix of reclaiming what was a slur, like women reclaiming the word slut and as a previous poster alluded to, a catch all term for anyone lurking in the dark alleyways of non-heteronormative or cis-gender identification and persuasions.
Quite a number identify as queer in the recent decade, as the myriad of terms to describe oneself, attractions or lack thereof that folk have rested in the queer label until they figure out where they feel comfortable, or those who felt that they were one thing, but the fluidity of their sexuality gave them something else, so queer is a rest from the labels. I always remind people that a lot of these ‘boxes’ were termed historically by those with disdain for the communities.
Also worth noting that many non-monogamous folk identify as queer…especially the poly contingent.
I was 100 % correct on this from the off … of course, i was rounded on and attacked numerous times because posters couldn’t have an adult conversation on the topic.
