Yip exactly that.
If you select “Move” from quarantine, it actually deletes the affected files. There is no option to restore them to their correct location.
I have a work around in place at the moment but this is some major fuck up.
If you would like to log a call with the support desk I will ensure The Runt Ltd is prioritised
Cheers AB, I have a man on the case already, since I have the workaround in place it’s not causing users any major problems but obviously it’s something I’ll need to get resolved.
Removal of items in quarantine has been causing the biggest issues at present with other dumbo’s who don’t have a workaround like the Runt
Hmmm it would probably be more apt to describe the firm who issued such a disastrous, untested update as the dumbos as opposed to the end users struggling to deal with its effects.
Just goes to show how important the test role in a software company is…

Our ABAP Programmr is a right cunt and the fucker has only gone and done a Farmer on it this morning and phoned in sick after he forgot to get some OSS notes transported into Production over the weekend to fix an issue one of out clients has been screaming about for the last couple of weeks.

A bit of advice for people.
Please don’t name files with multiple “.” in the file name, e.g. myfile.2012.doc
It causes a lot of problems with email spam filters and will often end up with your mail being blocked and some poor sap having to release it.
