Ms.Gildernew has had some incredibly close call in general elections in Fermanagh - South Tyrone. Polling in the region of 20k first preferences she’s had majorities of 4 and 57.
The current incumbent has stretched the margin out to 4K+.
Based on that clip, I wouldn’t give her a vote. Waffler.
It’s a vacuous question — “Do you support the IRA murdering?” First of all, thank God the war has stopped. But if we’re going to ask questions like that, then let’s ask how many people the British state murdered over 800 years of occupation, how many lives were destroyed, how many famines caused, how much land and property stolen. How far back do you want to go?
The reality is, for some people the conflict was a war, for others it wasn’t but either way, the time has come to move forward.
We can’t keep living in the past, re fighting old battles with old questions. The focus should be on governing the country now, building peace, and leaving those years where they belong in history.

Ian óg was asked about what made him British and he mentioned stuff like Coronation St, English football teams, the royal family etc. So exactly like most of the people in the 26 who support Liverpool, watch English soaps, buy gossip mags for royal family chitty chat, or watch the weddings on tv. We’d be just as well giving the 26 back to them.

Jon Burrows MLA appears to be a bit of a plum.
A complete donkey, he was probably out of his depth when in the RUC. He mentions Kneecap as reason why his musical constituent should be allowed continue belt his lambeg - he has spent the last 6 months on radio up here demanding Kneecap be jailed.
