lovely finish for Basle’s second goal here against Maccabi Tel Aviv

actually if you want a decent player, Eran Zahavi, the guy who got maccabi’s second here for 2-3 is a nice striker

I hope he burns in hell. He will never be as good a player again

As stated by me during last season’s Europa League.

Where?

you PM’ed me first tho for approval of the post

In Europe.

I think Lewandowski’s saga has definitely hurt Dortmund this year - pity because they were right to stand up to him and his demands to leave immediately. But Dzeko has a bit of improvement (or form to regain) to match the way Lewandowski was playing last year. He might be a prick but his finishing was top class.

I really like Dzeko and I think he has been badly managed at City. He will come good again.

I can’t find any record of Bandage saying this on the forum. If he did then he should point me in the right direction.

I can confirm Bandage did not tell the forum about how highly he rated Salah last year. I checked last season’s Europa League Thread and not once does he mention Salah.

It’s just another case of Bandage trying to claim royalty on something he has no claim over.

Lacina Traoré had signed for Monaco from Anzhi

Supposedly he is straight off to West Ham on loan. How has he done in recent years? I remember him giving the Roma defence a torrid time at the Olimpico when Cluj played us in the CL a number of years ago.

Don’t know. He was unplayable back in that CL campaign. Saw him briefly in a couple of Europa League games this season and he looked talented still but not that interested. Hard to judge him on that because Anzhi have been actively downsizing.

As expected Keisuke Honda has completed his move to AC Milan

Lewandowski should have gone to England or Spain .

Out of respect for Dortmund or for his career?

A bit of both really. Going to Bayern for him is a tap in but it is the easy choice. Mandzukic must be seething.

Inter look like they have nabbed Danilo D’Ambrosio from Torino for €2m. He had been linked very strongly with Roma and Milan and I’m very disappointed we missed out on him because I believe he would have been a better option at left back than either Balzaretti or Dodo.

It will be interesting to see whether he is likely to dislodge Nagatomo or Jonathan as he is very comfortable on both flanks. It’s also being reported that Wallace will return to Chelsea after his unimpressive loan spell.

Mandzukic doesn’t belong in football.

Ronaldinho has joined Beşiktaş; free transfer, signs a contract until mid-2016. Will earn between €10-15 million
