January 2023 transfer window

That lad is so laughably one legged itā€™s barely believable.

Itā€™s hard believe a manager worked with him, moved to another club, and thought to himself, Iā€™ll get him in for 100M.

Did Ajax take out a full page ad after that one?

Itā€™s very odd. Hell be decent and do a job but heā€™s simply not going to be a very good player. Certain players can improve and surprise you but he has no pace and one foot.

Thatā€™s not a very appropriate comment.

If the manager could improve him, surely thereā€™d be some evidence of that already before he left his old role

Ten Hag obviously likes people from the Dutch system and has sent a lot of money back to the Eredivisie.

Eth has worked wonders with Dalot, Shaw and Rashford. Hopefully, heā€™ll do the same with Antony. It can take a bit of adjustment stepping up from a diddy league, especially as an attacking player so im happy to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Also, Some lad on here reckons heā€™s slow, he looks pretty quick to me.

his legs move quickly but he never gets away from anyone.

That would be Jude Bellinghams dream. He could go home to the Brummies then.

Strangely this whole lavish spending spree by Todd Boehly has proven that you donā€™t need the dirty Arab money to compete at the top level. Chelsea have spent mind boggling money in the last 2 windows and are surely breaching every FFP rule possible but somehow they are more palatable than they were between 2003 and 2022 under the previous dodgy owner Roman.

White Western owners = good, otherwise = bad?

Quite possibly the most xenophobic comment on here this year

Sure Roman was in cahoots with Putin. Of course this self made man Boehly is an improvement on him. The Man City, Newcastle and PSG owners preside over horrible atrocities in their homelands. Thereā€™s plenty of dodgy billionaires in America too Iā€™m sure but I havenā€™t heard Amnesty International speaking out against Boehly.

Man City are owned by Sheikh Mansoor who is an honorary Knight commander of the most excellent Order of the British Empire, bestowed upon him for his charitable work and philanthropy

Google Man City human rights abuse and youā€™ll find a long list of related articles. Iā€™d be more inclined to trust The Guardian as a source of info than a Man City fan who accused someone of xenophobia for questioning Roman Abramovichā€™s morality.

The white westerner breaking the rules is more palatable were your words. Thatā€™s xenophobic
