sorry, mateā€¦didnā€™t realised I touched a nerve, I shall refrain from sending you messages about your hero in futureā€¦

Manager Avram Grant believes new signing Robbie Keane can be the catalyst which saves West Ham from relegation.

Keane watched West Ham at Upton Park yesterday as they defeated Nottingham Forest 3-2 to go through to the fifth round of the FA Cup where they face another home tie against Championship opposition in the shape of Burnley.

And while striker Victor Obinna scored a hat-trick for the Hammers it was the capture of Keane, on an initial loan from Tottenham until the end of the season, which excited Grant.

Grant, who has heard how Keane can inspire a dressing room from his pal, Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, said: ā€˜He (Keane) is not just a good player, he is a good character that we need in the next 14 games.ā€™

I hadnā€™t heard about Liverpools bid for Ashley Young until I read it in the paper just there. Looks like they will almost certainly be signing him before today is out if they meet Villas ā‚¬18m valuation.

Wasnt it predicted here that Bents purchase fee would be offset by selling Ashley Young?

If torres goes Daglsih wants to spend 30 million on Andy Carrollā€¦Hopefully Comolli tells him where to goā€¦

To think, Farmer wanted Daglsih to manage Ireland not too long ago

Christ, if Carroll is worth ā‚¬30m then Torres is worth ā‚¬100m

I like Carroll, he is a handful and causes the world of problems but he is fairly limited, even if he is young and has a bit fo potential it is hard to see how he is going to becoem anything more than a targetmanā€¦I would think that Darren Bent is looking like value if Carroll goes for 20 million +

Tuncay to Wolfsburg

From Jorge, Porto Alegre via text: ā€œDaily newspapers in Brazil are reporting the signing of Roberto Carlos to West Ham.ā€

Wayne Bridge will be like a cuntā€¦Surprised Carlos hasnā€™t gone to a more ambitious, potential top 6 team like Birmingham

Villa have told Liverpool to fuck off, so the Young deal is apparently dead in the water already and Liverpool are to switch their attention back to Charlie Adam

If Liverpool pay more than 4 million for Charlie Adam then they are suckers of the highest orderā€¦Even at that he is overpriced

Wonā€™t happen , maybe in the summer if young fails to sign a new contract.

Bents purchase was funded by the sale of milner.

Paul Koncheskey to Notts Forest

Thought he was gone to Fulham already?

Benzema to Villa on loan!

Has a close relationship with Houlier apparently.

Delighted to see Tuncay away from Stoke, far too classy a player for the likes of them and the epl.

Warnock to Pool on loan looks likes its happening.

Rumours going around various Villa websites that since Adam Johnson is injured and city are looking for cover they have offered Villa a deal of Milner+Ā£7m for Young. Youngs price on Skybet has halved in the last half hour. That would be a great bit of businesss for Villa.

Has Darren Bent been texting Andy Burton again?

Read an article in the Guardian recently that suggested that the big 5 with the exception of City were after Young. So even with Johnsons injury it would be a surprise. With Makoun and Bradley coming in Iā€™m not sure Milner is a
goer. Delph there too and if this Gardner is worthy of half the hype about him we should have a decent roster there next season anyway. Milner would have to head back with his tail between his legs and those situations dont tend to turn out too well - Robbie Keane etc.

Surprised noone has come in for Reo Coker. Out of
contract in the summer and a solid EPL performer if nothing else and still in his mid 20s. Petrov is finished at this level again though surprised noone has had a punt.

Was back training with the full team today. Could be just saying his goodbyes however
