£18M seems about right for Darren Bent , you have to remember since 2005 he is the 3rd top scorer in the EPL Drogba (83) Ronney(82) Bent(81), for a player as consistant as that you are going to pay big money. I hope this transfer goes through as we haven’t had a proven goalscorer since Yorke left.

Darren Bent is a superior player to Robbie, younger and you can’t trust Robbie not to fuck up the atmosphere in the dressing room, the troublesome money grabbing cunt. Not sure he’s worth 3 times Keane, but Keane isn’t worth 6M either.

Robbies reluctance to move to Birmingham has killed that move. Ya Robbie is a great pro. :rolleyes:

Maybe he didn’t want to go to Birmingham - there’s still a couple of weeks for him to get fixed up. Keane’s never given a hint of causing dressing room disharmony in his career. For example, Redknapp often mentions how he continues to train excellently even though he’s not in their long term plans.

Bandage, the reason he has been frozen out at Spurs is because of causing disharmony. Fair enough if he doesn’t like Birmingham (thats exactly what i said) but he could end up going nowhere, which is hardly the right thing to do either at this stage.

The irony is he could end up only 25 miles closer at Wolves. :rolleyes:
