Aston Villa being linked with a move for Crouchey
I will leave you off this time since you made a legendary post yesterday evening
I believe Pomp owe Spurs a large chunk of that 8mill still. Pomp are stone cold broke of late.
With regards to Ailsa’s transfer dealings so far, Bridge is a no brainer, we need a left back, hes not bad. But the money, fucking hell. He was on 80g’s at Chelsea, and was rumours to want 100g’s from City, this is fuckig obscene money.
I’ll have Bellamy in there, typical Hughes player. We need some water carriers, no sense just splashing bids around for unrealistic targets like Kaka and Messi. Hughes is being pragmatic.
Good to see Ben Haim off, it was never going to work for him at City, poor ol fella was in danger of never playing another International game again under the new owners.
Severely doubt it. Crouch would score more goals than Heskey but I cant see MON going for him.
MON has rubbished the Upson link thankfully aswell.
Chris Killen has admitted he needs to leave Celtic if he wants to revive his stuttering career.
The former Hibs hitman has been linked with a move to Hearts but insists he would prefer a crack at the Premiership.
The ex-Manchester City kid, now 27, has played just once for Celtic during the season.
Killen featured as a late sub in the 3-0 SPL win over Falkirk back in August.
The big New Zealander has just resumed training after three months on the sidelines with a knee injury but is unlikely to force his way back into boss Gordon Strachan’s plans.
Killen, who made three appearances off the bench for City, said: "I would be interested in moving away. I just want to play football, all the boys at the club are the same.
"When you’re not playing you’re not happy so there comes a time when you need to look forward, whether it’s a loan or moving on permanently.
"I would like to go back to the Premiership. I think everybody wants to play there.
“That’s the level you need to aspire to but at the moment I need to work hard to get back in the Celtic side.”
Killen has been out of favour at Parkhead for more than a year and once fit will be behind Scott McDonald, Georgios Samaras, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Shaun Maloney and Cillian Sheridan in the pecking order.
He added: "Everybody knows how tough it is at a club like Celtic. We have the biggest squad in the league and the best players so it’s a tall order to get a starting position and nail it down.
"When we look at the players we have on the bench sometimes it shows how tough it is.
"But things can change so quickly. One week you may not be involved then the next you might be starting.
“I just need to keep working hard, focusing and taking my chance when it comes.”

In my FM game Killan is always giving out that he’s not getting his game and he’s unhappy. I put him in a couple of times but did fuck all for me. Tried to sell the hapless kiwi but to no avail.
FM is just like real live, ergo I hate that cunt!
I was querying on another thread last week why Walter Smith signs players and then never plays them (Gow, Webster, Aaron and another couple I can’t remember) but the same applies to Strachan with the likes of Killen and McCourt. Killen’s patently useless and he’s one of a number that it would be useful to clear out.
Like the reference to the ‘water carrier’ and the subsequent ‘splashing’.
Anyway Bellamy is far from a water carrier. The cunt has flashes every now and again where you think he could be a real player, like his shot against Liverpool for West Ham from about 30 yards that hit the post. I also remember him destroying Vidic in a game for Liverpool against Man Utd. Not too many players have done that.
You could do much worse.

Was reported on Sky Sports News so it must be true
Birmingham have apparently had a Stg3m odd bid for KKKris Boyd accepted. It’ll be interesting to see if he decides to go there. It’s common knowledge the huns are riddled with all sorts of debt but selling their 18-goal top scorer in the middle of the season is a bit odd.
It’s reminiscent of them selling Alan Hutton in the January window last season off the back of a good first half of the campaign. Boyd has an horrendous record against Celtic and at European level but he’s a lazy cunt who has a knack of finishing in the box against the lesser teams and they’ll potentially miss his goals against the rest.
- Zenit have confirmed that they’re in talks with Arsenal over the transfer of Andrei Arshavin.
- Stephen Appiah has been training with Spurs and could sign with them. He’s currently unattached after leaving Fenerbahce and had been troubled by a knee injury.
- Denilson, once the world’s most expensive player, is apparently in talks with Bolton.
- Carlos Tevez is strongly being linked with a move to Real Madrid when his 2-year loan with Manchester United expires in the summer.

Fair enough, I’d agree there, but my point was that City cant just go crazy buying your Robinho’s. the squad needs some serious balance.
On another point, interesting article in Sundays Trib saying that while Given is a fantastic prospect for a club, who will buy him. MUFC have VDS and SAF rates Foster. Arsenal dont NEED a keeper and if they are going to buy have more priorities than a keeper. Chelsea have Cech and Pool has Pepe. Even City have Hart, but could most likely buy Given anyway but lets be honest City arent the best prospect either at present.
Would love to see him go top 4 in Italy or the likes but doubt Given will do that at this stage of his life.
Doesn’t surprise me at all MBB. I hate Redknapp and always have done.
Just like pointing out his cuntness every now and again though. Like I do with Ferguson.
Great post Farmer , “Appy Arry” the wheeler dealer really gets on my tits , what a fuckwit.

I would say Arsenal NEED a decent keeper, and so would most Arsenal fans I know.
I see Michael Johnson may be available. I like this guy and wouldn’t mind Liverpool picking him up. What would ya be looking at, 6m-8m? He’s one for the future imo.
Rafa’s come out and said he’s not buying anyone though.
Pennant linked with Milan. Mental.
Arsenal going to be busy
Lifted this from another forum regarding the Huns and how broke they are. Posted only for the fact yer man’s tone seems definite. Interesting stuff - as I said earlier, it’s common knowledge they’re riddled with debt and the banks have started to call it in given the current climate. The comments about the media and how the Huns try to manipulate it is spot on.
Edit: Posted by NCC on another thread already.
The West Ham clearout has started -
Etherington on his way to Stoke for 3m
Davenport going to Bolton
Bowyer going to Birmingham
Arsenal are the only club interested in Arshavin - Zenit denied they want 20m in one payment up front
Boro have told Spurs they wont be signing Downing this month and have denied they turned down a third bid of 14.5m
On an aside, am I the only one that thinks that Spurs might be the next club to go under? They have to be on a tight string at the moment - how much have they spent on Bale, Hutton, Woodgate, Pavlechenko (sp), Modric, Defoe (twice), Bent and now bidding nearly 15m for Downing? All the hallmarks of what happened Leeds all over again here. At least they made money from Berbatov, Keane and Carrick. But how much would they have paid for Ramos and how much would they have had to pay him off? Can see it going sour somewhere down the line.
Paul McGowan has gone to Hamilton Accies on loan…I wish him well
