Donald Trump has it right. He has appointed Myron Ebell, a man who actually understands real science, as opposed to the politically-driven fake “science” being peddled in lefty liberal universities the world over, as his head of the Environmental Protection Agency in the US.
I hope Ebell winds the damn thing up and destroys the EPA like Maggie Thatcher heroically destroyed the cosseted, mollycoddled coal miners in this country in the 1980s.
Our “environment” doesn’t need “protection”. What we need is for our energy policies and our planning policies to be run by efficient, wealth creating, private firms.
Why should NIMBYs be allowed object to a new coal-fired power station just because they live near it? Why don’t they explain to the rest of the country why it shouldn’t be able to have 64 inch televisions merely because these snowflakes think they’re “entitled” to breath clean air?
Why should the miserablists be allowed object to the new runway at Heathrow merely because they live in its flightpath? Do they ever watch television or listen to music? Well, if they do, they’re noise-making hypocrites!
