Great footage of Portumna winning the Intermediate in 1992.

A sensational sideline cut in the 2005 county final. He was definitely more than 15 playing in the final though. Sure he was born in 88’.

Fuck me lads he was some talent.

Goosebumps here. :heart::heart: Joe.

Remarkable talent.

Him chatting about the mother is hard viewing. A lovely woman.

Sean Canning seems like an absolute sound gentleman.

He deserved a 6 part series.

So much skipped over.

You’d nearly forget that Ollie Canning would be more than worthy of a Laochra Gael too. A marvellous hurler in his own right.

Very little about the club All-Ireland successes.

He was box office alone till he was 21.

Great episode. TG4 can make them. Good roll call of participants in episode too.

I genuinely always thought he’d pulled the hammer when he was shouldered by Maher in 2018. I completely blocked that loss out bar the shoulder and the Josie Cooney’s interception goal.

Some career alright. You could probably come up with well over a dozen more incredible moments or scores that didn’t even make the cut. Him and Shefflin duelling it out in Tullamore in 14 wasn’t even mentioned. The part about the mother was the first time I think I’ve ever seen him get emotional like that.
