They’re on an upward curve and you can’t say the same for Tipp or Waterford so from this point it would be a surprise to me if they didn’t get out of Munster.
sure they’re getting fed in limerick by the time they come out of school and work before they go back to their mud huts
Cahalane was excellent there this year.
Was it Collins is his name, the young lad Galway brought in near the end, I know maybe just to give him a run, but I was looking at him thnking he wsa going to get broke up in the first tackle
Tipp are definitely on upward curve. Look at what they did this year versus last year.
ah jesus.
Cahill and Beavens are a decent crew, I reckon they know what they’re doing but as for players, Tipp are fucked
He was. Cahalane was easily one of out standout performers this year. A much maligned figure.
Galway are very poor imo. They haven’t five good players.
They have to find a 3 and 6 too.
Cork never really replaced o Sullivan and Ronan Curran. It’s taken them nearly 20 years.
Galway have always in my life time struggled with 3 and 6.
Even Limerick we never really had a 3 and a 6 you could really depend on until 2018.
I would have been a bit a critic of Cahalane sauntering around too before, but you could see the effect Ryan’s standard had on him. Very much improved gumption and stamina, good athletes and hurlers the Cahalanes.
The Young Cooney has come on a lot in size quickly but he needs a fair bit more to be touching Limerick, seemd a bit burned for speed
Cahalane is a terrible full back lads, always liable to give away a stupid penalty. Cork conceded a hape of goals from the full back line this year
Tipp losing to Waterford really benefitted Limerick.
I think the Munster final in town With that crowd changed limericks year. Suddenly you had a months break and we’re two games off winning an all Ireland.
Kiely and Kinnerk had already planed out route B, the head on Kiely afterwards trying to hide a grin. Sure nobody could believe it.
that’s what he was like
I think they reached their ceiling.
You can say that Galway are very poor but they should have beaten Kilkenny in Leinster final. They were very impressive for 30 mins against Limerick (I know its a 70 min game) but a change of tactics resulted in a total malfunction from there on in. There is nothing between any of the teams, outside of Limerick. Limerick are coming back to pack and the pack are improving.
If Joe Canning managed Galway it would also get him off the Sunday Game and stop him roasting Limerick in the video analysis. When he said Hegarty was lucky not to see red one day I was speechless
Daithi burke has been the best full back of his era.
Too small a sample size to be saying that. Much like Cork, next year will tell us more.
