Amazing to think back how competitive we were under the environment Dela created.

Youā€™re a simpleton

Dela made a few errors like us all mere mortals but he was a damn good CEO. Certainly way ahead of the current guy in charge who wouldnā€™t run a bath.

The current guy may be utter shit but heā€™s buried in the toilet Delaney left us in. Only a simpleton would believe otherwise.

They should swallow their pride and get Delaney back in as an advisory role.

Weā€™re trying to remove corruption and nepotism from Irish football

Heā€™s such a patriot he might even do it

God only knows what kind of shitshow theyā€™ll make of this appointment.

That time Dela flew to London and had the meeting in the Mayfair Hotel Room with Oā€™Neill/Keane was military like CEO work.

Dela was a visionary and a leader as well as being a stand up guy to have a pint with. He is fondly remembered by real football people in the 4 corners of Ireland

The grassroots has been cut adrift since Tighe and his contemporaries launched their vendetta.

Iā€™ll never forget the time he brought the Mens Senior Team to train in St. Michaelā€™s Tipperary Town in 2009 before a friendly in Thomand Park.

Do you think Johnny Hill would ever consider going beyond Castleknock and Abbotstown?

Dela was a man of the people

  • Abraham Lincoln
  • Alexander Hamilton
  • Andrew Jackson

  • Benjamin Franklin

He had Trap turning on Christmas lights and attending St. Patrickā€™s Day Parades.

There was a connection, a feeling, and soul to Irish football thatā€™s been totally lost.

The idiots only remember some Credit Card miscalculation and an expensive birthday cake.
