John Delaney/ tugging off half the forum

Heā€™s an advert for nepotism and parish-pump sport politics. Heā€™s obviously not without talent in a networking sense at the same time, but whether heā€™d thrive in the private sector is another thing entirely.

How does his salary compare with similar roles in other European football associations of a similar size? Obviously exclude Spain, France and Italy etc.

Dela is hated by the media because he has been a success at pretty much everything heā€™s turned his hand to in life.

The media hate successful people

They donā€™t really .

Back in 2012 he was on more than the combined salaries of the heads of the Italian and Spanish associations.

The tiger is roaring when the bean counters think 17k a month net salary is poor. :joy:

Steph Curry gets paid over $10K per minute for throwing a ball at a hoop and missing over half the time.
Itā€™s all relative.

Wow. Itā€™s the equivalent of Pat McDonagh earning multiples of the CEO of McDonalds. Are there lads on here justifying his salary?

What was Martin o Neil on a month

Was he was on a higher salary than the likes of his Spanish, German and French counter-parts?

less than Loew and Deschamps and the Portuguese manager, the same as Southgate and more than every one else.

Roy Keane made the top 10 of all managers on 600k. The same as Koeman

And Delaney sanctioned these? ludicrousā€¦ How much did the FAI payout to Oā€™Neill and to Trap?

there is a rumour of 3m payout to Keane and Oā€™Neill. No idea on Trap

Big Mickā€™s reported salary is 1.2m per year.

Trap was half a mill I think ā€¦ along with the major fuck up with not shifting 10 year ticket plan - thatā€™s some very bad business overall.

Denis Oā€™Brien paid for Trap I think. Then bailed out of the shit show

The rubby boys have pissed all over the FAI over the last 15 years
