I donāt agree that its a one-off chance. Limerick deserve their place in the final. The Clare performance aside, no team will want to face Limerick this year. And they are a young team. Oldest one is Nicky at 29 and Mul at 28. The future looks bright.

I donāt agree. Limerick have learned from their mistakes and moved on. It is a team full of ability, skill and guile. They can only play whats in front of them and yes, Claire did dismantle them but Limerick learned a sorry lesson that day and deserve their place in Croke Park.

The begrudgery on here is unreal but the facts donāt and wonāt change. Limerick are in the final after beating Cark, Tipp and Kilkenny. A great year by any standards.

Thereās a touch of the snowflake mentality about that post, ie. they learned a lesson and moved on. They were beaten up a stick. Look it, Iād be happy for any Munster team to win the All Ireland, but Iād rather it be a proper championship year and a more solid team.
Didnāt waterford last year also beat Tipp Cork and KK to reach a final , that worked our well for McGrath , didnāt it ?

I still canāt figure out why Derek went. Heād one bad year after being consistently being there or thereabouts for years of proper championship games . Unlike John Kiely who gets a team there once in a decade, in an experimental year too.
