On a micro level he can actually talk a lot of common sense. His overarching theme however seems to be almost Nihilistic in his radical skepticism pertaining to the perpetual suffering of existence.
Not difficult to reconcile how he suffers from depression.

Most of what he talks about is common sense, maybe it’s nihilistic to suggest that people should have a more concrete ambition than to walk around in a state of bliss

He drives them absolutely bananas for some reason. The 12 Rules for Life are harmless enough. The book is a bit wordy.
He has a good one that you should be resilient enough to be the strongest person in the room
at your fathers funeral and be useful in the face of death

He gives them an excuse to virtue signal. Like the school story in Carlow, they can’t let the truth of what was said get in the way of this chance. Wokeness is a hell of a drug for the snowflakes.

It’s the other side of the coin to Trump supporters.
Social media feeds an echo chamber where people only are exposed to views they believe in and don’t want to hear or read an alternative point of view. In fact an alternative perspective upsets them.
It then evolves to nobody should hear or read an alternative view.
The snowflakes are busy yapping away to each other in their echo chamber this morning.

Yes the echo chamber is very true. But the idea of burning books, shutting down viewpoints you don’t agree with (and aren’t able to debate with, the real reason) and for some reason crying over nothing and announcing this publicly seems to be a left wing phenomenon. It’s this promise of a safe space where you don’t have to back up your viewpoint with any argument that’s too enticing for them. Look at this forums main bedwetter, no argument, as he’s unable, just repeats what’s true about him, snowflake and echo chamber in a shrill nasal tone and thinks this proves something.
