Do you think you should be allowed self identify as anything you want and society recognise that ?
Do you think biological males should be allowed compete in womenâs sport?

do you have the right to tell people what they do with their own body and identity?
Live and let live is what I say⌠But you canât be born a certain way on one hand and then on the other have the ability choose ⌠Itâs one or the other no? Anyway, youâd have to feel sorry for anyone born feeling they are in the wrong body⌠Or the kids of parents pushing the gender neutral shite.
youâre confusing biological sex and gender.
Someone is born as a male (sex)
they feel like a girl from a certain age but are made to do boy things (gender)
Thatâs pretty much it.
Thereâs a lot worse things people could be pushing on their kids, passing on their own hatreds etc.
I donât understand it myself
Thatâs what I say too. I think we need to learn from what has happened in the past. Homosexuals were subject to utter discrimination when the reality is that homosexuality is part of life, just as transsexuals are albeit in less numbers. After everything thatâs happened I would think it shocking that we as a society would discriminate against somebody being as they are (as said above by @EstebanSexface) and hurting absolutely nobody.
We do all the time pal.
If a lad from Libya flies into Dublin and says I self identify as Irish heâll be shown the door to a plane home.
People are free to self identify as what they want. Nobody disputes that. The issue is why for gender alone itâs expected that society accepts it without any external evidence.
Countries could actually measure how virtuous and progressive they are by the bucket
I am pro people being as they wish to be and not be subject to the same discrimination as the likes homosexuals have, and still are, been.
That said, any parent who attempts to allow and even encourage their kids to make a life changing decision when their brains arenât fully developed are as big of cunts as any.
Iâve personal experience of this. Itâs outrageous what was allowed to happen and nobody can say a word for fear of being labelled prejudiced.
Thatâs a laughably lame comparison. Fucking hell
Why is one form of self identification ok and another not ?
Would you let biological males play womenâs sports ?
Itâs not prejudiced though. Itâs abuse and it simply should be called out as such. A pre puberty kid is in no position to make a call on such a thing.
But should that person wish to make a change later on in their life when their brains are capable of processing it, then that is entirely their right and should be respected as such.
Just because someone identifies or wants to identify as someone doesnât mean they are allowed free reign over the law or rules.
This is fairly ignorant stuff from you.
A person can have multiple nationalities in your archaic comparison above. If they donât have diplomatic pass to enter a region they get turned away. Sports have rules, if the person isnât eligible to play, they canât.
Itâs wrong for children
Later in life Iâve no issue with somebody identify as a different gender. Itâs up to them. The issue is whether that choice should be legally imposed on others in every Avenue of life or should there be a threshold applied.
Answer the question i asked.
I did.
You clearly cannot answer it as it exposes your position.
Iâll leave it at that.
what position is it you think I have?
I donât think males should be allowed play female sports. Do you think that means people shouldnât be allowed change gender ?
Look, times are changing. Like it or lump it. You can either accept it, even if you donât understand it or you can become a grumpy old man, or you can fight for your right to control what other people do.
You arenât going to be forced to do anything.
I was fairly insistent a few years ago on the he/she thing. Spending time in London educated me on it. I was fairly ignorant about it and I had a very sensible debate with someone who wanted to be called they at lunch one day.
I was of the opinion she was a she. They wanted to be called they because they didnât identify as any gender and found it offensive.
They turned me around by asking me was it so important for me to say he or she that it would hurt them, as they were genuinely hurt by the gender. I couldnât in all faith say it was. So I relaxed on it.
But youâre inferring that society decides what boy things are there instead of the boy having a nature that leads him to prefer certain things over others.
A boy is different things in different societies, itâs why people are different all over the World.
why is it so difficult for you to believe that someone can be born into the wrong sex? There are people who are born and age prematurely. We arenât robots and we arenât perfect. There is all sorts of weird shit happens
