Yet another vindication for Il Bomber., is anyone keeping count?
Letting Cech go was the worst bit of business ever.
Roman did it as a favor to Cech for service rendered. A nice gesture to be fair. The injury to what’s his face compounded the move but it’s far from the main issue here.
The fire has gone out of him. He’s not happy there, looks as if his increasingly volatile behaviour is an attempt to force the clubs hand into sacking him. Jose leaves, can claim he wanted to stay, still leaves a hero in the supporters eyes and gets a big fat payoff in the process.
It looks like he is having a midlife crisis.
I think we should speculate wildly as to what he’s up to.
My guess would be banging the hell out of Carneiro with some sort of gone pear-shaped scenario having played out.
