Kevin myers- an alright sort

Can anyone tell us if the number of soccer agents who are Jewish agents is out of proportion with the percentage of Jews to the greater populace .

Also Myers should note that Marian Finnucane is well paid and ain’t Jewish.

I do my best work after a few cans of Guinness, in fact I am drinking right now, writing a boring report

P.M, did you meet any random club\county\individual men that expressed an opinion in line with your next article?

Daniel Levy the master negotiator a case in point.

 You literally could not make that up. Spoofer of the year award.

I have been thinking the same about a sports writer lately too, obnoxious, could even add in arrogant, condescending, belittling and thought he surely must be half cut when he writes some of the bluster he does. I must ask an acquaintance of mine who knows him if there is any truth to it.

From AM to Pm, Myers is a wanker.

That’s a lovely sentence, Sid.

I wonder how many articles of five years ago by how many writers could be quoted from memory…

Only the great ones, such as

I was a stylish professional, free from parents and time curfews, and now living in a bustling centre of activity: in my eyes, I had it all

Without googling, Alison?

The two-bed showroom unit apartment on the fifth floor wasn’t exactly affordable, considering I was buying alone, but with its sleek Scandinavian furniture and skyline views I was prepared to stretch my cash limits and fork out the €525,000 sum required.

Correct. Great writing leaves an indelible mark.

Sure, why not report back? I am certain a man of your obvious charm must have many interesting and well informed acquaintances.

You really should send your CV to Fox News, given your marked interest in journalism. They are interested in that meld of low curiosity and high gullibility.

I do indeed have plenty of acquaintances. Unlike the aforementioned journalist though, my acquaintances are real and dont make up stories to try shoehorn a point to their thoughts.

I have no interest in sending my CV to Fox however. I didnt think people who had an interest in reading columns and newspapers automatically meant they wanted to be journalists? Or are you saying that you have to have been a journalist to make comment on one.

It reminds me of the current Wexford manager who raised some ire within the journalist community recently. His point was you had to have been a manager to make comment on one. Wouldnt seem logical to me that you seem to be of the same way of thinking?
