Kev's Sporting Bets 2014

Anyway.
Goal scorers in Leinster Club Final at weekend
McNamee @3.4
Connolly @3.4
Quinn @2.5
Anton Sullivan @4.0
All 2 points each -23.15
Both teams have been scoring goals freely all year, both have class inside (and outside) forwards who look for goals and are good finishers, both teams attack at pace and on the break at most opportunities. Most goals in football now come from either long ball or on the break. Both teams defensively are also susceptible to both. Anything less than 3 goals would be a surprise to me. No odds given on total goals scored in game unfortunately. Connolly due a big one as well.

Tir Chonaill Gaels +12 @2.0 v Corofin, 4 points. I know little about TCG, but at home with a bloated Irish population and a rising standard in England this spread seems generous. They seem to have targeted this game as well.

I genuinely was surprised, you’d have to feel sorry for the fools.
That must be the first time you’ve ever made a mistake on the internet.

@Rocko, is it possible to rate the post of a person you have on ignore?

Perfect rationale to punt them I suppose.

Well he did write off Corofin earlier this year because he hadn’t heard if ‘they had found any new forwards’ so yknow, there’s that I guess.
-33.4 pre games.
Took in 8.25 for Chelsea and 11 for Man C = 19.25

-15.15 now. Be nice to be up a point or two for Christmas.
-14.15?

I have read statements from them to this affect.

Corrected, it’s sign of a poster that they correct positively as opposed to looking for pathetic little negatives.

You still haven’t got over it. That’s around a week now you are holding onto something from some lad on the Internet. You need a new project at work or something.

Don’t be so sensitive Kev. It’s not like you.

that a club team is “targeting” a championship game, ?

pity your parents didnt say the same about you

You’re a horrible person

Not entirely true. Neither scored a goal in their county finals

I don’t think either team was targeting the county final though.

post reported, line crossed

I agree mate. It was a horrible thing for @mickee321 to say. Glad we agree on this.

No, but they gave them away, which is what the bet is about as anything.

Rhode have also scored an average of 2.4 goals per championship game this year.
Vincents hit 2.2, in fact the only game they failed to hit the net was the one you point out.

Actually, neither team has played in a goaless game this year.

As for lads unable to understand a GAA team targeting a period of the year, if you don’t get that then I suggest you don’t comment as it shows a real lack of understanding of the whole thing. In short, the whole GAA set up, is all about calculated risks in terms of preperation and targeting.

I’ve forgotten what the hell we were talking about.
