Kev's Sporting Bets 2014
No, but they gave them away, which is what the bet is about as anything.

Rhode have also scored an average of 2.4 goals per championship game this year.
Vincents hit 2.2, in fact the only game they failed to hit the net was the one you point out.

Actually, neither team has played in a goaless game this year.

As for lads unable to understand a GAA team targeting a period of the year, if you don’t get that then I suggest you don’t comment as it shows a real lack of understanding of the whole thing. In short, the whole GAA set up, is all about calculated risks in terms of preperation and targeting.
Agreed on the preparation thing. Oulart were ready to peak in November / December this year. You’d have to say it was the right strategy after so many near misses / chokes in previous Leinster Finals.
Anyway.
Goal scorers in Leinster Club Final at weekend
McNamee @3.4
Connolly @3.4
Quinn @2.5
Anton Sullivan @4.0
All 2 points each -23.15
Both teams have been scoring goals freely all year, both have class inside (and outside) forwards who look for goals and are good finishers, both teams attack at pace and on the break at most opportunities. Most goals in football now come from either long ball or on the break. Both teams defensively are also susceptible to both. Anything less than 3 goals would be a surprise to me. No odds given on total goals scored in game unfortunately. Connolly due a big one as well.

Tir Chonaill Gaels +12 @2.0 v Corofin, 4 points. I know little about TCG, but at home with a bloated Irish population and a rising standard in England this spread seems generous. They seem to have targeted this game as well.

burke or Carthy , the wing forwards, 5.5 and 4.0 respectively are better value I think kev…

Ya it’s kinda go on a few reliables or go for that kinda slightly longer odds. The first 3 I have got a fair lash of goals this year though. Although the way both these teams play goals can come from anywhere.

Mind you 4.0 for a h/f when you get ye same for an inside forward who has scored goals isn’t that great value.

Any stats on these lads scoring to date, to save me going to every match report?

fair point… did you ever see this guy…does some very good stats on matches… https://twitter.com/analysisgaa

Ya I follow him, only problem is I don’t follow twitter that well. I could lose 3 hours without thinking from the feeds I have.
However I will look into him for this.

are you going training any teams next year kev?..

Man C -2 this weekend. Leicester without 1st choice keeper and centre half and they are just so far behind an in form City its hard to describe. Could be 3,4,5-0
Its 3.9 at Coral, 3.75 most places, i’ll be going PP 3.75 with 4 points.

Toulouse to win tomorrow, 3 points @ 2.5 (PP) . Dusautoir is back and Toulouse are out of the running in France, I expect a big performance. They rested players 2 weeks ago for this double header.

Bath to win 11-20, 2 points @ 3.5 (PP). They are pretty accurate at the spreads in Europe and I fancy Bath to get close, and its quite a bit of leeway to be below. These are better value than the -19 @ 1.9

Thanks pal, first compliment you’ve given me.

So you are setting the spreads but then losing consistently on them? That’s fairly fucking stupid.
I thought I was on ignore?

Toulouse bring home the bacon. The French are getting more formidable since they have started looking at the mental side of the game more to add to the undoubted physical advantages they had. I expect, for a little while at least, money to be made on them away from home.
