Just heard myself, shocking news. RIP and deepest sympathies to his family, club and parish.
I marked him in my last year at U-21 when he still had a couple of years left. He hurled me up a stick but was clean as a whistle doing it on a foul day in Dunamaggin.
edit: I should say, he marked me.

RIP, sincere condolences
Over the seven matches involved in getting to that AIF and beating Kilmallock, Paul was the best man we had that season. Never man of the match on a given day but the steadiest performer we had overall. Being brought out from right corner back to right half back gave him a new lease of life.
Just devastating news to get this afternoon. We are all thinking of Aoife and the four children. Paul will be sorely missed by a million people.

Sad, sad news to hear of a death at such a young age with the world in front of him. Condolences to his family, clubmen and friends. We indeed know not the day nor the hour when life changes - permanently.

Yes, an awful blow for the whole community. Paul was doing great work with years in juvenile hurling, juvenile camogie and juvenile soccer. The club greatly valued Paul.
