Kilkenny GAA thread

:joy::joy:

That wasn’t my point. They’ve gone 17 years without one. It isn’t just a foregone conclusion that Cork, Tipp and Kilkenny will always be the best teams anymore

You made that statement about Cork that I quoted and responded to. If you had left that out, I would have agreed.

I stand by it. Cork could easily go 20 years without one, that’s only 2 seasons away. In fact I’d say its more likely than not

A friend of mine who’d be close to things said Derek Lyng travels foreign for work, so he’s 50/50 on whether to take it or not.

Ok, I read it as Cork could go 20 years from now without one.

With the split season he’ll still have 6+ months of the year to travel abroad. Another benefit of the split season!

Huzzah!

I wouldn’t agree. I’d expect them to be knocking on the door again in the next three years.

I can confirm this. Spoke to him once as our work overlapped (he was in the canteen and I was introduced by a colleague). Sound chap.

That doesn’t mean the players of the last few years rated him.

Is Cork „out foreign” to him?
