Careful now, a comment like that could spark an acrimonious 300 post debate amongst our Limerick brethren about their team of the mid to late noughties
Is there blood on the programme?
Looking at that Mullinavat team, things must be bad in O’Loughlins if they lost to them.
Chocolate, the joys of bringing small kids to a game and giving them a Twix multi pack and the programme so they won’t be distracting you from the action on the pitch
Anyone know who passed?
Edit: Joey Holdens father. RIP
Single point win for the Lockes.
Sickened, we’d enough chances to win 3 matches.
I don’t know how many wides we had, well into double figures anyway and another 6 or 8 shots dropped into the keepers hand.
Ryan Bergin did a lot of damage, Callan don’t have much outside of that though.
Didn’t make it down. Sounds like they rode their luck.
Expectation isn’t an issue with this group and any progression from here on would definitely be bonus territory.
The Bridge beaten by five unfortunately.
The current success of Limerick has diluted one of the great staples of this forum - the selection process. As we moved into the decade beginning 2010 there were a minimum of 25 - 30 selectors here, all possessed of inside information, form-guidelines, parochial attachments etc… Heady days.
Theres a couple of injuries but with the current personnel theres not a huge difference between that and our Junior C Team. Theres still another 3/4 years threading water at Junior level ahead.
What age is Niall Walsh now?
That Ger Frisbys son no 7 for Slieverue?
He was on the county u21 in 08 so that makes him 35. Think today might have been his last game for the club, hips are giving him hassle and he has a young family.
Great servant though, never had a bad game for club and was solid out again today at centre back.
Yeah it is, smashing hurler. His Mt Sion genetics no doubt
Yeah the Frisbys were originally a Mt Sion family but they went rogue.
Some amount of Bergins on the Callan panel.
Surprised they threw him on from the start.
