You hate to see that skill dying out of the game.

Speaking of Codys, I heard that BC and Mick Dempsey are taking over the Village senior team.
Fan Larkin’s whereabouts are unknown but there are fears for his sanity.

Mick :flushed:

Has anyone told Joseph’s ???

Poor man. Please God it’ll turn out okay for him and the family

Are these effectively: “You can’t fire me, I quit!”

Possibly?

I would have thought both were good enough to be in a 36-man panel anyway, neither are that old.

a good few years s&c gone out the door too and experience…

it takes a year or two to get up to the condition required really

article says Richie Hogan is still in the squad, what kind of club form did he show?

possibly feels Cody could have been more generous with game time and wants to see how it goes with a new gaffer

Both players are travelling.

He contributed in no small way with his club regaining Senior status. Although thats just a footnote now given Club form will no longer have any influence on the County panel(maybe it didn’t before split season anyway)

Codys attitude to him has been poor imho. Now however Cody can continue to play out his cover of the madness of King George on Village time.

Richie might be a 15/20 minute man for Lyng, even if nothing more than to affirm to the likes of Billy Ryan that there will be a departure at a specified juncture if a performance is not being achieved.

And the legs held out into extra time…

Anyone have the team for today?

Excited to see how Billy Drennan goes.

Des Dunne deserves his run after last years county final performance alone.

Paddy Deegan at half forward is interesting

5 points so far, 3 from play. KK leading 1-8 to 0-3
