Kilkenny GAA thread

You’d rather be looking at them both than looking for them. I suppose it’s a chance for someone else to put their hand up for the place.

I’d say its no coincidence they’ve gone travelling now that Cody is gone.

Imagine the trepidation of ringing Cody to tell him you weren’t playing next year, instead going off climbing on elephants in Thailand or somewhere.

why would a grown man be afraid of ringing another grown man to tell him he was going off travelling? What would he do? Roar at you?

You don’t understand Cody…

what would he do, get them thrown out of their jobs? Tell their Mam’s? He’s just a bloke

You could possibly be sent to China and have to send home videos from time to time explaining that it’s great over there.

Thats the first time Codys ever been referred to as a bloke I reckon.

The thing is, he wouldn’t roar at you. He wouldn’t say anything, just that you would be out.

Could you imagine the conversation when you came back the following year?

Actually, there would be no conversation.

You wouldn’t been seen again. You’d be out.

Lyng could do the same

Conor Browne will be 28 in 2024. James Maher will be 29. So…

Michael Carey will be 25 in 2024.

Not a great dynamic.

You’d be in a shallow grave somewhere.

Somewhere nobody goes or comes out of. Graiguenamanagh or Tullahought…

Skeaghvasteen most likely…

Muckalee or Listerlin. Aughaviller or Templeorum. Tullaherin or the parish of Pitt.

Hey, a lot of good things came out of the parish of Tullaherin.
Me for one…

Big parish, could even be the biggest in size.

That must be an old one. Definitely two parishes now. Tullaherin stretches from Kilfane Demesne in the east over to the Nore at KIlarney. Thomastown is big enough in it’s own right.
