Vereker is a common enough name down around Glenmore and Slieverue, Dutch origins afaik.

Rionn B for most of our time. We were Rionn A at u14, got to a county semi. Piles’ auld boy was over us, some craic. An excellent Village side skivered us up in JLP.

Same with us, I think I only ever played in Glenmore once and I can’t remember playing in Slieverue. Played ye cunts plenty though
We played Glenmore below in Hugginstown one evening, u16 I’d say. Eddie O’Connor was over them. The fucker wouldn’t stop roaring, real shithousery to us. Had to tell the cunt to shut the fuck up at one stage, and he a hero* of mine.
