Erins own performed a great escape again today with a 5 point win over glenmore. Really goals kept them in the game in the 1st half when they were being outplayed against the wind. Another seconds into the 2nd half set them on their way.
Tough task for glenmore now trying to stay up against village or ballyhale.
Bennettsbridge got out of jail with a come from behind win over luckless Clara.
The other notable win was piltown beating ballyragget in what seemed a thriller. Amazing how so many of these st patricks players played senior hurling and are now stuck in junior.

The Shamrocks Ballyhale forwards have these Village backs on toast so far.
If Shamrocks could stop fouling here they’d be out the gate.

Evan Shefflin is a very unfit looking young fella. Must be only 24/25.
He was fucking terrible there. The time he burst out for the ball dropped his Hurley tried to fall on the ball and it went in to the unmarked forward for a goal was comical.
Noticeably overweight.
The player fit jersey is very unforgiving.

Couple of big derbies there
Hard to call them though.
We’ll have to wait for a few expert opinions.
Boro will fancy a cut off o loughlins. They’ve come into form at the right time and look to have a fairly settled team.
Think tullaroan will beat bennettsbridge.
Congratulations to blacks and whites getting their first win of the year over carrickshock. Been a tough year for them with some heavy beatings. Conahy carrickshock relegation intermidiate relegation final.

How have Erins Own made a quarter final? Saw them on Clubber a few weeks ago and they were like a junior team.
First round doubles up as a relegation semi final. They have been “building” for that game with the last month.
