Ah Jonjo :clap:t2:

Fair play, a fantastic team performance led by their main man.

That was a good watch. Quality of Thomastown touch was impressive.

Delighted for Donnelly, don’t know him but he seems a good egg. An awesome performance from him.

Lyng has Noel Doherty coming in with him, he’s obviously very good. Can only be a positive.

They are some big team, o loughlins lads suffered some hits. Zach bay knocked heary, Mcdonald powered into deegan.
Who’s to say how far they can go now

Yep I’d say so, although when are they going to get rid of this ridiculous tradition

Jesus that’s some beating. Didn’t see that coming. Delighted for Donnelly. Great to see a new team win it.

Just back in from Nowlan Park. Reminded me of the 1984 final when an unfancied Muckalee dumped Ballyhale on their arse. Savage work rate from Thomastown all over the field. They won every 50/50 and plenty of the 60/40s and 70/30s. The day suited them because if you put in a tackle you’d a fair chance of dislodging the ball.
The little lad on Huw Lawlor had him absolutely rattled. TTown obviously targeted Paddy Deegan and made bits of him. The Kerryman might have his passport revoked. OLG looked like a team that was thinking of the All Ireland series and got blindsided.
That New Stand is a great spot to watch a match and the atmosphere was suitably fervid.

Nowlan Park is the best hurling venue in the world.

Their touch and use of the ball was excellent on a miserable day.

Yeah, way sharper than OLG on the day.

After pearse stadium

Ah stop. A miserable spot.

I’m shocked there was no kick out of OLGs. I waited and waited but it never came. Hard to believe Deeghan was targeted but he hardly hit a ball after the first five minutes.

I thought the two Donnellys at 6 & 11 were class, with Peter McDonald at midfield doing Trojan work.

No kick in them at all.

Soft townies.
