Hard to know what to make of that thomastown result. Ctg winning wouldn’t be the shock of the century but 11 points?! Starting forwards only got 1 - 3 from play. Stephen Donnelly nothing.
Love to see Ctg make a leinster final.
In fairness, the margin probably was down to the red card.
Looked like panic set in when it was at 4 or 5 points and they just kept launching the ball down the field and that didn’t work at all. When you’re down a man, you have to try and carry it through the middle, it’s so easy to defend if there’s an extra player and you’re doing the same thing over and over again.

Close to the motorway but not a screed of hurling played in Tinryland apart from these BOICMC. Convenience trumps tradition it seems.
Its a fine set up. 2 x good pitches. Regularly used for challenge matches by dublin clubs and county teams
