That is genuinely not what you expect in kk club scene. What sparked it off?? Was there bad blood beforehand?

No bad blood, would have no history with St. Martins. The lad who did it is an eejit of the highest order. Gone now, banned from the club along with his brother. All relatives have withdrawn from the panel.
If Callan win the next game it’ll be our greatest ever victory.

Muckalee used always be well able to use timber. 3 of us ended up in Casualty one year during/after a Special Junior match. In fairness my injury was purely accidental.
I think I only ever countered the Lockes once. My only memory is about three of us trying unsuccessfully to horse an aging John Power away from a ball he had his foot planted beside.
The panel is fairly decimated already , this is as untimely as possible .
Fuck it if we go down at least the scourge of those lads will be gone from the club. Good riddance
10 years too late. This should have been nipped in the bud when the 2 lads were kids but it’s been left fester to this, the inevitable conclusion.
