Jackie could be a weak link. Cleaned out v dicksboro 2 years ago.
I remember seeing him play against Mount Sion in a challenge match 13 or 14 years ago. He was outstanding. Hard to believe he never made it as a county player. I suppose Kilkenny had an embarrassment of riches when he was coming into his prime.

Jackie is 37 now and the legs only fit for Littlewood’s skinniest. Cravats or flashy smoking jackets won’t cut it agin’ OLG or Ballyhale.

Same vintage as TJ and Richie Hogan - scored 2-2 in the 2008 U-21 Final and I’m pretty sure he must have 4 All Ireland Senior medals as a panelist 11,12,14 & 15.
Never really rated in Kilkenny but due to a combination of your point regarding the standard of talent and a bit of a Bias against The Village players generally who were given expansive time on the panel without ever consistently contributing on Match days.
