Kilkenny - Non-GAA Discussion

Thanks for that. Heading to Thurles today. Was hoping to stop somewhere on way home to midlands/KK(2 households). Iā€™d imagine horse and jockey would be wedged.
Thereā€™s a thunderstorm warning :cloud_with_lightning_and_rain:

@iron_mike would ye ever cut the grass and weeds on the square in Ragget?

Itā€™s a holy show.

You passed through today I take it?

Funny, I passed through Ballyraggett as well today, it never appealed to me as a place to stop the car,
Did you go through Durrow as well, thatā€™s a nice town (not in Kilkenny obvs)

We did. The brother is in respite in Castlecomer again. Well looked after. Itā€™s a great break for him. And plenty to do in Castlecomer with him. Itā€™s a surprisingly busy town.

I was on a stag a couple of years back and we spent an evening in Comer - was surprised by the size of the town. Half a dozen or so pubs from what I remember.

Bollardā€™s was the pick of them.

The nightclub in Langtons had itā€™s last night ever last night
Only using the front bar from now on, weddings and events in the ballroom/formerly nightclub venue

Was Eamon allowed into it for the occasion?

Hon Castlecomer!
