What do you make of the game and limerick
Have to admire KK grinding that out when Hogan & Reid plus C Fennelly were kept so quiet.
LK forwards never asked enough questions as a unit & their inability to win an aerial battle was a key factor in that loss.
My auld lad just rang me up to give out about “the sleeveen way TJ Reid coaxes frees from referees”.
Limerick have some talented players coming through but they lack structure. It’ll be interesting to see if management learn from this season and whether they are capable of implementing a cohesive style of play.

On the way home now. Another one of the great moral victories! Great future blah blah blah. The future is now not next year. Kilkenny and cody are finished. We had a chance to finish them but didnt. Cian lynch obviously does not want to score. Dowling blowing hard after 5 minutes didnt do too bad in second half. Subs didnt really make an impact. Full back line immense and half back line not far behind.

Mixed feelings… Poor first half from both but thought Limerick battled well second half but a little bit of experience and physicality left them down… not that they didn’t try, but just a little short…
The ref wasn’t the deciding of it but all kk had to do was throw their hands in the air and they got a free, Reid in particular…a fucking joke.
Backs were great… Casey when he got service was also great… plenty to be positive about, but enough to cast doubt also.
KK are done.

Yes a mistake. Id just about let it slide. That didnt cost us tonight. We score 5 or 6 of the 13 wides in first half and we had a right shout. We were chasing the game tonight against a team on its last legs.
