Anne. Doyle.

I didn’t watch any of the rest of it.

:clap::clap::clap: Anne was outstanding

Always thought anything goes was a total kids programme that seems a very serious type discussion. It was one of the first programmes I ever remember watching getting up and going downstairs on a Saturday morning.

Timmy Mallet used to be on UTV

And Philip Scholfield on BBC

This fella is off the charts these days. Looking forward to watching this one

Timmy Mallett was done by the time Aengus, Mary Fitz, Dave Heffernan etc hit the screens at 930

Good times, I’d be up early for Hapoy Days with the Fonz and Richie, you usually have a match at 1045 so you wouldn’t end up seeing anything goes

It’s of its time. Kids were smoking Rothmans by 11 back then and holding down a full time job. It’s all about inclusion now and making sure weedy johhny gets game time.

The father smoked Aftons for years, then he cut back in later years and changed to No 6.

I don’t ever recall sweet Afton as loose tobacco, it was a filterless cigarette

Major was the same thing with a filter, a harsh fag.

A harsh fag but it marked you out as a tough nut, possibly a builder. Fellas who were afraid to go into a dark room on their own smoked Silk Cut.

Woodbines had no filter either iirc?

Correct

There was a red silk cut available that was strong, it wasn’t a king size
