That was put up a few days after AI final during the night so obviously drinks on board, still a pretty stupid thing to do. If Cunningham is there next year Harte most likely wonāt be. If i had a choice between the two of those iād take cunningham but i doubt itās as simple as that. Any credible options for replacing Cunningham? Cloonan, Kenny, Donoghue? I think Jonny kelly / tony keady are done after the u21 disasters.
That mad bastard Daly will be scratching his head below in Limerick. If he had any sense heād stay well away from it but Iād say hes giddy enough these days.

Is Daly not ratified for a job with Limerick underage next year? I do think Cunningham is being hard done by but i am not involved in the hundred or so training sessions that the players have had this year so they may well have a point. As a supporter i was happy with the progress this year - progress in terms of results and getting to an AI final but also nice to see a Galway team showing a bit of steel (both kk games apart) that has been missing from galway for years. There did seem to be more of a player driven mood judging from comments during the year from collinās especially which was great to see them taking responsibility, maybe this is the flipside of that.

Was Daly getting Dublin to multiple AI Semis a more impressive feat than Cunningham getting Galway to 2 AI Finals?
Is it fair to say Galway would be a far more talented squad than what Daly ever had with Dublin?

Evening Galway readers. If you were satisfied with Cunningham being asked/told to step aside on the basis that 27 squad players were in favour of it, would your stance change if the subsequent reports that itās a heave by 5 or so disaffected players be true?
It wonāt end his career but it was a fairly stupid thing for him to do.
