I’d say uptake on the season tickets will be low… coupled with the fact that they have raised them to 100 euro this year.
Ah yer gas all the same lads
Interestingly the panel itself doesn’t have the two-thirds majority needed in the clubs’ vote to remove Cunningham.
Cloonan was a leader? He was the first cunt to look for an easy way out and start pulling dirty strokes when the going got tough.
Rose tinted glasses are the best type of glasses. People remember players as they want to rather than how they actually played the game.
What does two thirds majority mean? It’s not an especially lucid phrase.
23/29 is nearly 80%. 2/3 is about 67%. Am I missing something here?
The players aren’t necessarily all from different clubs and many clubs may be unrepresented you silly billy.
23/32 but it’s still bigger than 2/3. I thought I.must be missing something, hence the post above.
That isn’t quite what he said, but point taken.
I withdraw my comment.
Maths like that is why I work as a accountant.
Cunningham has stepped down
+1
Would always have considered Cloonan a bit of a flat track bully as opposed to a man to turn the tide
He didn’t deserve to go out like this. The players have just increased the pressure on themselves 1000%
Cunningham had his flaws but acieved more than any other manager we had since Farrel and would have an All Ireland to show for it but for being caught in the Cody era.
That said a change at the helm might just be what is required to take this team over the line. I doubt it will be enough myself but we live in hope
Liam Sheedy making space in his busy diary as we speak to head up the committee tasked with finding the next manager of Galway.
Try not to appoint a mate, former work colleague and fellow county man this time please Liam.
Cunningham scathing in his statement calling his removal a kangaroo court by a select few players trying to extend their I/C careers
Get ready for Dalo, my Galway friends.
Who is the outside influence ac refers?
Gpa?
Surely.
