Youāre just jealous we didnāt get as far as Limerick, ye might have a few forwards worth a shit.
I have galway genes
The closest youāve gotten to Galway genes is a shopping trip to Don Coenās in Gort.
My great grandfather is in books about galway
The Great Book of Galway?
Galway Soldiers of the Great War 1914-1918
He took the Kingās Shillen, Joe!
He sure did

So, whats the feeling in the lead up to the Clare game?
I still wake in sweat the odd night thinking about the 2013 debacle where Jason Grealish was the spare man and he hit ball after ball into the Clare sweeper. Then there was McGrath running rings around what appeared to be our stationary backs. I remember us going man to man for large parts of the game and at times we were playing a 2 man full back line where Kevin Hynes was badly exposed for pace on a few occassions.
Iād like ot think we are a better prepared on this occassion and a little more savvy.
A few suggestionsā¦
Canning will have to play in a deeper role.
McInerny on Conlon.
Hanbury on Shannagher.
Daithi Burke needs to be allowed to hold the middle and stop the Clare runners. I dont believe he should be assigned full back at any stage. Either Hanbury is good enough for full back or he isnt.
Timely substitutions could play a big role in winning this game. The likes of Niall Burke and Joe Conney should be hauled ashore early if they are not performing. (if they even start).
Iām not confident, canāt remember the last time we beat these cunts.
2011 we gave them a serious seeing toā¦
That we did. They were awful.that year though.
We?
Football is on gaago on Sunday.
Re the hurling, not much point leaving joe in double marked by a sweeper, anyone who drives an aimless floating ball in should be hauled off, time to man the fuck up and give and win short smart passes. Let Daithi sit at 6 and close down any diagonal ball around there. Iām not convinced by hanbury, this game or going forward, even if we win this we are no closer to solving the Seamus callanan problem.
The Callanan problem is simple, you decimate the Tipp half back lineā¦ How you do that is another thing.
Give sylvie the first ten mins in a roving half forward role
Whatās the deal with Jason Flynn? Is he out of form or just out of favour. I would be far more worried about our chances if we were facing a Galway team with him and Glynn in the forwards
