He’ll hardly start anyway. Could see him coming in with 20 mins to go if we are still in it.
He’ll be better than bringing on Andy Smith anyway.
Right after they swop jerseys…

Pretty grim news about the extent of Joe Canning’s hamstring injury.
Galway could have beaten Kilkenny yesterday.
Galway could have beaten Kilkenny last year.
Galway will never have a better chance of winning an All Ireland than next year
Last year was the one. Had Galway beaten Tipp in the semi they would not have beaten Kilkenny yesterday either. Mental fragility is not something that can be coached out of lads.
Agree. Still think Galway would have won if canning hadn’t gone off injured. It will never be better set up for them.
Might be a career ender
I’m sure there are a few counties out there thinking they have a great chance. Realistically though your looking at the same four semi finalists as last year.
Cork while they are always capable of pulling off a big game, I don’t think they will have their house in order.
Clare. Is it the Davy Fitz thing or are they just not good enough. Of the four teams that made the semis in 2013, they have all flattered to dechive since.
Waterford probably looked at yesterday and saw what could have been. They most certainly have the talent coming through and probably see themselves as best equipped to take on Tipp next year.
Wexford. Don’t know still a bit all over the shop. A ,other of talk about their 3 in a row Leinster u21 wins. But if one looks at it more closely, the standard of under age hurling in Leinster has been badly exposed once the AI series started.
Dublin are still re,yang too much of physicality rather then natural hurling ability.
Galway seem to have found some degree of stability with their new management team. The question is can they maintain it.
Then of course there is the third secret of Fatima which is Limerick hurling.
In fairness they have made great strides at underage over the last 3 to four years.
Senior is a minefield as it has been for the last 20 years.
Another difficult year ahead with whoever tasked with the job having to make difficult decisions regarding merging new with existing talent. That in itself could leave us manager less by Christmas given our tenancy to throw the toys out of the pram.
If we an get a good no nonsense manager in there who is prepared to make the hard calls, tell outside interfering bodies to fuck off, then promotion next year must be a target. Anything else after that will be a bonus
Tough on Joe. Long way back.
Ah here, surely not. His game never relied on pace in any case.
True, but he’s relying on mobility now that he has become a ‘provider’.
???
He’s made for cb.
Corner-back?
Centre.
Tip > Galway > Killenny > Waterford
