He won wan all Ireland with a group of massively talented club hurlers he had the fortune to coincide with, with underachievement and failure on either side of that.
He’s an ideal fit for us.
I still think Galway have the most talented squad in the country and even if there’s a bit of mileage on them they’ve still a better age profile than Tipp. At the same time, expectations are low, looks a very attractive job to me. Get most of the players to the form they are capable of hitting and have them well organised and motivated and they’ll be in with a shout of an AI.
