King Henry of Galway (Part 1) 👑

Maybe he thought he would be less prone to rashness with one arm.

Correct and true.

There isn’t one Galway panellist who would consider Davy Fitzgerald a higher authority on hurling than themselves.

@Faldo has convinced me Davy is the right man at the right time

Davy is an even bigger cunt than I thought possible if he was canvassing for a job before there was even a vacancy.

His stooge Arse Towel Fogarty wrote several articles touting Davy for the gig with O’Neill still in place.

One can only imagine Davy’s reaction if it was roles reversed

Davy is up for it, so he is. At the right price.

This exactly. He’s a fair cunt all the same.

We don’t even like each other. How are we expected to like outsiders?

Galway playing two sweepers should be good.

John Fitz the coach or one of the native Galway selectors?

We won’t afford Davy.

Brian Hanley would be an astute appointment. Give him 3 years at it

Johnny Kelly will hardly come into the reckoning for this will he?

He would be on a shortlist but wouldn’t be my choice.

He’s absolutely brilliant at club level

Would totally agree. I have seen his work first hand and would rate him highly. I just think the job would be too big for him. His spell with the u20’s was underwhelming.
I think Sean Treacy’s experience as a player and his personality would be more suited to the job.

Lovely bit of wumming by @peterswellman.

Is that a euphemism for limestone cobbles and boulders?

When you get the chance to hire a Davy, you hire a Davy
