We had ye both days back then. Ye gave us some trimming in 2015 in Tullamore iirc. The day Cheddar unveiled the double sweeper and put Joe Campion off intercounty hurling for life.

To give you an idea, last year they won both the minor A and minor B championships in Galway which I donā€™t think any club has ever come close to achieving before. Some of the lads playing for Galway minors now were on their own clubs 2nd minor team last year. Incredible boost in numbers there, and the new school is stacked with current and former intercounty players.

Strange result alright. They were flying in their first two games. Sligo scored 0-8 against them and the same Sligo put 3-10 past Mayo but sounded like they completely flopped tonight. Either itā€™s a super Mayo team or Galway just never turned up tonight. Likely they meet again in the final anyway but Galway will need to win a semi-final first which they should going by previous results. Glynn has been a bit of a disaster over the minors the past 3 years compared to Oā€™Faharta before him who had them winning Connachts and in a few All-Ireland finals.
