I see McIntyre has begun with the heave of Cunningham.
Where is that PH?
I heard McIntyre earlier during the week on OTB and he didnāt have much to say in a positive sense about Cunningham or the county set up. I read elsewhere that Galway have only won two championship games since beating Cork in the all Ireland semi final in 2012. Those two wins both came against Laois after scares. Also they have failed to win two consecutive league games in a row in about 30 games. It seems inconsistency in team selection is matched by performances.
Saw this on the examiner website. Went looking on the Tribune site but couldnāt find it.

Heās not wrong to be fair. When Cunningham does go, whoāll be in line?

Available finances would probably rule out the bottom two.
Stehpen Glennon wrote a pretty scathing piece in the tribune alright. Didnāt read McIntyres column.
Expectations are as low as ever, he probably should go but whatās its April now and the players have to take some flack too.
I would think Micheal Donoghue would be close enough to getting the reins next.
Michael Bond would be a good choice for a mid season change of manager.
Did he ever get a crack at the Galway job?
McIntyre has a cheek to raise his head above the parapet after how shit he was.
Heās a sports editor with the local newspaper you gobshite.
I know that. Itās rich for him to comment on any other galway manager though. Fuckhead.
Itās his job you tool.
Those quotes from mcintyre were directly taken from his column in the connacht tribune, youd swear he was interviewed reading that article. As kp said stephan glennon wrote a far better piece outlining some of the ridiculous chopping and changing that has gone on trying lads at 3 and 6. Mcintyre isnāt much of a writer i think, kinda just states the obvious. Even though they reckon no one knows more about irish racing than he does.
Thought Glennon hit the nail on the head with that piece. Very little sense to a lot of whatās gone on.
Macintyre is an utter coam.
No heās a cunt whoās carried an axe since he got dismissed from a job he was utterly utterly shit at the prick. He is a prick anyway. I know lads who had the misfortune to work for him. Uniformly disliked.
Some his post match interviews were fucking cringworthy. A Tipp cunt making out he was close to tears about Galway losingā¦ run for the bridge Iām Portumna you cunt before someone throws a pitchfork at you.
Agent McIntyre as he is known in Tipp. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to destroy Galway hurling
- He resigned
- He achieved as much as every Galway manager since Cyril left, nothing.
