Lakeside World Professional Darts Championships 2016

Nerve jangling stuff. Duzza has a bounce out on double 2 which would have put him 2-0 up in the deciding set. Scotty nails his double to level it up at 1-1.

Duzza, like he did against Wolfie last year, has played sparkling darts, but you just feel that the more experienced man with the know-how to win when it matters on the famous stage is beginning to wear him down.

Itā€™s just not going for Glen now.

Scotty breaks to go 2-1 up and now throws for the match.

140!

125!

Scotty killing this.

140! from Scotty now.

Six darts for Scotty on 36.

Itā€™s there!

Sounds like a cracking match.

Delighted for Waites - a class player.

I feel sorry for Durrant though who is also class and strikes me as a gent.

Poor Duzza. Heā€™s devastated. The Boro contingent in the crowd have dumbfounded looks on their faces.

Scotty Waites is a warrior.

Uncle George looks shellshocked.

Terrific from Scotty. What a warrior.

Waites will run away with it now I feel. The time to get him is early on - heā€™s just going to get stronger.

Jaime Hughes isnā€™t a bad player though

Some reaction from the audience as Scotty walks onto the balcony to joing Colin and Bobby. A heroā€™s reception.

Some achievement to come back from the dead twice in 18 hours.

Duzza is almost in tears as he tries to talk to Rob Walker. You couldnā€™t have a better man to console you though. Rob is great guy.

But itā€™s clear what it meant to Duzza. He could barely talk.

Thatā€™s the end of the afternoon session but the crowd donā€™t want to go home. And the staff certainly arenā€™t making them go. Itā€™s an afternoon lock-in at the Home of Darts!

Darts is a pub game, pal.

I see the scummy Lakeside rabble disgraced themselves again abusing Glen Durrant when he was throwing.

Well clamped

Poor Duzza, Waites is poxed it seems.I hope Jeff Smith goes all the way.

What an entrance by Anne-Louise Peters here!

I can totally understand why BBC with first call on showing one of the quarter final matches selected Duzza-Scotty, thus ensuring it was during the afternoon schedule.

A 132 out shot by Deta Hedman to get us going - bull, T14, D20. You wouldnā€™t see finishing like that in the PDC.

4/5 on the doubles for Deta so far - a set and a leg up.
