Lance Armstrong

That was another telling thing from the Oprah interview. Youā€™d imagine anyone well coached looking for redemption would have let on they were delighted to have the weight lifted off their shoulders ā€˜look Iā€™m glad itā€™s all come out, I was living a lieā€™ kind of thing. He seemed to genuinely regret making the comeback only because he blames it for his downfall. ā€˜I wouldnā€™t be sitting here if I didnā€™t come backā€™. Almost seemed to be admitting that the only thing he regretted was getting caught.

Aye. He got greedy. Iā€™d say thereā€™s Indurain, Bugno and a whole load of others who are sitting in their villas tonight glad they never went down the ridiculous route Armstrong did.

Shit article from a shit journalist. All these accusations flying about but I asked him and he denied it-he lied to me!

Do some investigative journalism you spoofer.

Anyone watching. Iā€™ve a bottle of red here so I thought Iā€™d get it over with now. A half-apology to David Walsh. Not cool.

Armstrong bemoaning that he canā€™t compete in the Austin 10k. Suggesting that maybe he might be allowed compete in local sporting events in exchange for ā€œa six month subventionā€.

ā€œI would apologise to Davidā€ (Walsh).

Armstrong thesaurus: ā€˜Absolutelyā€™ = No

Fucks sake

I thought the tears were about to flow there.

They night be about to.

Lance comes clean because of his kid - fuck off!

Here come the tears!

Christ, can you imagine being Armstrongā€™s son. Worse than being that Hitler nephew who lived in Dublin or somesuch to paraphrase Father Ted in the New Jack City episode.

Taking out the first 10 minutes of part I of interview, Armstrong has been on the charm defensive. No follow ups at all by the big O - she may have researched the history but she hasnā€™t lived and breathed it to know when the cunt is out on a limb.

Still, heā€™s gone further than any high profile Irish sporting drugs cheat has ever done.

This advertising from this alone should get the Oprah network through the next year.

Fair sick of this shit. No follow us questions to the big issues

Ah, here

And they all lived happily ever after.

The rest of them will get theirs in time. Armstrong now will ride off into the sunset.

Did Oprah and Lance make love at the end. Great narrative, touching back story, emotion, eye contact, tears. Surely theyā€™ll go at it soon.
