Cavanagh was an all time great. An absolute legend. That Tyrone team were utterly immense.
Meant to write 03-05, basically immasculated what was man for man, a great Kerry team.
I always felt that Cavanagh was the most complete footballer of his era,
He could do anything, play any position
Gooch or Cavanagh? Prime for prime, who’d you take
Brian McGuigan never got enough credit. As good a link man as I’ve ever seen. And could score.
Rocko is going to need a new hard drive for this.
He has some hairline
I think he was the best as well as with his attributes, he could influence any kind of game. He had no real reliance on any teammate and no weakness in his game.
Defintiely one of the greats … Amazing how everyone knew he was going to jink to make space for shot yet nobody could stop him …
Looks like Tomas o shea is wearing fake tan.
That Stephen o Neil point was amazing.
Cavanagh all day long for me anyway.
Declan O’Sullivan in his prime might come close
Cavanagh all day.
Could play it any old way.
He summed it up well I though, 8 or 9 of the top players in the country, with the best system and the highest workmate…Hard bait that
Cavanagh, not even close
Shortish prime with injuries but absolutely immense. Could travel at top speed with a ball, fellas hanging off him and then take a score.
Bit odd he told Canavan to take free off muggsy.
Bit like Thierry Henry cutting in off the left
This Tyrone team would beat the current Dublin team.
Lot of good teams in this era, took a fine Cork team till 10’ to bag their All Ireland…team that had 9 or 10 very very good players.
Tyrone had Kerry on the hook and Kerry seemed to have Cork.
