Heās also nearly 60 mate
Hence the āwasā mate
It is a big deal if you want to go to nba. Not such a big deal if you play it to improve all your other skills. A great game
You wouldnāt find too many under 6 foot these days. Isaiah Thomas is 5ā8" I think but basically finished
Really ???
Youāre mixing up cross-country running with soccer here.
Alternatively, he might possibly made a useful centre in rubby where his crash-ball bursts may have knifed through opponents.
Got the impression MDMA is not that fond of Jim Gavin. Having said that Iād say Jim Gavinās wife isnāt that fond of Jim Gavin.
The bit I saw ( will see it Sunday ) he came across as a likeable enough chap . He seems to have a fascination with inner city
He couched his comments carefully just the same but you could taste the vibe.
Iād say Gavin, for all his oulā goofy, inane grins was a little Hitler in reality.
Bit of a bohemian, walks his own path. Lads on this canāt understand why he wouldnāt have known of Sean Cavanagh, itās very simple, he only plays the game and was probably off playing away on his skateboard or that instead of giving two fucks about likes of Cavanagh or any other gaa games heās not involved in in general. The only thing I will say is, and I could be wrong here, but tg4 had down that he grew up without his parents. By the sounds of it judging the laochra Gael doc, his father died when he was in his late 20ās. Thatās on them though, not MDMA.
Itās a question worth asking; if Gavin never managed Dublin, would they have won 6 in a row?
I tried to set up a poll but Iām too shitfaced to get it right. Iād like to hear @peddlerscross opinions
Itās a good question. They probably wouldnāt. He made some hard calls and got the results. He also unearthed a few nuggets who had big impacts (Howard, Murchan) but seemed less successful with the likes of Costello who never kicked on really. Then the couple of lads who couldnāt be arsed (McCaffrey, Mannion). His military career would indicate a bit of my way or the highway but the records donāt lie.
He said he liked how people said to him that his dad had helped them as he was a GPā¦ he said he wanted to help people too but knew he wasnāt academic enough to be a doctor so chose to help people the way he is now in inner city ā¦
Losing your mother especially as a young kid is tragic whatever way you spin it really. Suppose losing the da relatively young as an adult just adds to it
Spot on
As Quaid describes it himself, David Cuddy drove his testicle out through the net in Kilmallock from a penalty in a National League game. Thereās actually footage of it. Not the testicle going through the net mind you, just the impact and aftermath. Canāt imagine the pain of that.
I wouldnāt even think of going near it, poor bastard.
Yes, granted, but he didnāt have an orphan Annie life either.
I think the two of us and him would agree with that
Good though
