O Sullivan is retired.
Darran
In fact I will resign if @Nembo_Kid posts from the @Il_Bomber_Destro account this very minute.
He’s a sub.
Ah stop.
He was on the team, the fact is that Kerry have an awful lot more rebuilding to do. Much of their so called transitional team were 10 year veterans. Tyrone are far much further down the road than Kerry are. There are only 5 players from the 2008 AI match day final still on the Tyrone panel. I’d gauge there would be about 15 Kerry players still involved with a lot of them on the verge of retirement this season or next.
And yet Kerry are still beating them with a bunch of over the hill players.
Make your mind up.
One minute it’s a transitional team, the next it’s an over the hill team. What is it?
Pity Harte wasn’t positive in the Semi & he could have finished the fuckers for good.
Tyrone defeats of Kerry haunt the whores, but beating Tyrone adds years to the cunts.
Once the applauder and instigator of southern bias wumming, @myboyblue has become caught up in the inescapable vortex he helped create.
The ironing is delicious.
Say what now?
Oh he knows.
He really doesn’t
When Strimmer wasn’t the shutdown corner back on an under-achieving Monaghan side, he embarked on an ill-advised career as our Maths teacher. Thankfully ousted by the end of Transition Year, avoiding irreparable damage to an Honours LC class, he returned to Gaelic Games where he pioneered revolutionary software to be used in Gaelic Games coaching. I emigrated prior to seeing the end product unfortunately.

Tyrone’s main problem in the last 7 years has been the break up of their greatest ever team and arguably the greatest every county team. There has been a phase of transition, only Cavanagh remains from 03, Joe Mahon from 05 and Justy, Colm Cav and McCarron from 08. I think Tyrone reaffirmed themselves as a force again last season and I expect them to build on it.
Tyrone’s problem in the last 7 years has been the same problem they had in the 115 years or so up to 2003, they weren’t within an asses roar of contending for an All Ireland. They’re following the same path as non top tier counties - Roscommon of the early 40’s, Cavan of the late 40’s early 50’s, Mayo early 50’s, Down 60’s, Galway mid 60’s, Offaly early 70’s through to early 80’s, Meath late 80’s & 90’s, Down early 90’s, Galway late 90’s - early 00’s - slowly disappearing off the radar not to be win an All Ireland again for another generation or more.
I’d be amazed if Tyrone won an All Ireland in the next 5-6 years.

If 125 years or so of championship football have thought us anything its that Kerry are rarely in transition, that’s why they’ve won 37 All Irelands. Ominously for the rest Kerry have won their first back to back minor All Ireland’s for the first time since the early 60’s. The 2014 & 15 minors were superb teams and a good few of those fellows will be the backbone of All Ireland winning Kerry sides for the next decade.

arguably the greatest every county team.
No. Just fucking no.
Not even in the top 5.
whats tyrone’s path in ulster this year pal?..they could easily reach all Ireland final if they win ulster…I’d expect them to evolve in the way Donegal did under mcguinness…2011 semi final, very defensive, next year they developed a bit more regards attacking and made final…winning ulster would mean probably having to bea Mayo in a semi final…they locked down mayo in '13 but hadn’t developed enough attacking options to get over the line and eventually crumbled in last 10 minutes or so… as things stand you’d expect Dubs and Kerry to meet in semi final, a lot of teams will fancy their chances the other side …Tyrone have as good a chance as anyone I think…
Derry up first in the quarter final, likely to be Armagh in the semi and Donegal/Monaghan in the final. It’s a tough draw but we really need to be winning an Ulster this year, that’s the no.1 priority, if it doesn’t go to plan then there’s always an All Ireland to go for.
I expect Donegal to have recuperated this year and with no retirements I expect one huge final push for an All Ireland, decent draw for them in Ulster too. The likes of Murphy and a few others have put their legs up in the off season, club campaigns over, only McBrearty comitted for the international rules and no players made themselves available for the interpros so this group are going to make one final heave.
Harte himself has said we need an Ulster title or an All Ireland final appearance this year or it’s a failure. The firm expectation is that we push on, doesn’t look like we have any retirements and a lot of guys were in their first campaigns last year or only beginning to establish themselves. I think we’re in very good shape to challenge for honours and Ulster will be the priority. Don’t see Monaghan doing much this year but still a very dangerous team, Derry, Down and Armagh are capable teams but we’ll get a better idea of where they’re at during the league. Paudie Hamspey is a name to watch out for this year, I expect him to take Aiden McCrory’s place at corner back and he’s an excellent man marker.
Has your man Clarke recovered? The lad that was acting the wank behind the goals when we had a penalty.
