Laochra Gael - Back, and to the left hand on top

You have obviously forgotten the ‘’ Robbing of his Signs ‘’ episode.

Beating whoever they play generally

Of course they would.

They only have to beat one fodder team to be guaranteed a last 12 place. They relied on a core group of players for the big games over the years. How does that constitute depth as reason for the prolonged careers of their players - particularly when debilitated by lack of S&C.

Your whole argument is flawed and full of holes which is why you are shit scared of engaging here.

You’re mental. You have serious issues.

I don’t even know what i am supposed to be engaging in.

Good night.

Watching the Conor Hayes Laochra Gael here.

Galway 2-15 Limerick 3-9.

Eamon Cregan flicking in a goal, then getting the mandatory shoulder off a defender and responding by digging him in the gut with the hurl.

First All Ireland Final I was at. Cregan gave an exhibition that day and nearly won it single handedly for Limerick.

O’Grady is some bitter hoor

I started going to hurling matches with the old fella around 82, always thought Cregan was the classiest hurler of his generation and he was well into his 30s by then.

Erroneous, Mattie packed it in due to back injury.

He couldn’t keep up with the training schedule.

Drink didn’t help either.

On song he was in markable, I can’t say I’ve seen enough of Browne to make an objective call in any case.

Turn of phrase. Body gave up.
Anyway i learned since it was more a caprentry wear and tear injury than football, although intrinsically linked no doubt.

Donal Óg Cusack let in an incredible amount of soft goals and has an undeserved reputation as being a goalkeeping pioneer. Just watching Tony Browne put one past him from 50 yards in the Ken McGrath Laochra Gael.

Not to mention the soft enough one he left in from Martin Comerford in the 2003 final wot won it for the Cats.

Like Cluxton in football Donal Og’s reputation was not built on shot stopping alone. He did leave in a few dodgy ones over the years (Comerfords in the final of 03 was the most painful) but he was most definitely a pioneer

No, he wasn’t.

Is that cockney rhyming slang there?

Don’t forget Paul Flynns “topspinner” or “mishit” as it might more correctly be called.
