I think I saw somewhere that the surplus was not due to rte coining it it was just that they spent less as there were no big events etc? That would be a huge difference from the narrative that covid was a huge boost to their advertising or whatever. Itād be like the way most people in Ireland have more money now as they couldnāt go on holiday etc.
